About Us
The Cleveland School Sport Partnership CIC is a Community Interest Company for schools and other agencies that works strategically to change the lives of young people through the promotion, development and delivery of PE, sport and physical activity within schools and across the wider community. We are hosted by Chaloner Primary School, but provide services to primary, secondary and special schools across the whole of the East Cleveland area.
We believe that all children have the right to access high quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity, and we are committed to working alongside the 24 Primary Schools, 5 Secondary Schools, Special School and 6th Form Colleges in East Cleveland to achieve this. We aim to inspire a generation of young people to have a lifelong engagement in sport, physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.
We deliver a range of services for Schools to access which include:

The delivery of P.E and sport related Continual Professional Development to teachers

The deployment of a team of School Sport Specialists to deliver high quality curriculum Physical Education and work alongside Classroom Teachers and teaching assistants to develop their knowledge and confidence in PE

The organisation and delivery of the School Games

The organisation and delivery of Primary School Sports Competitions and Inclusion Events

Helping schools deliver their 30 active minutes and inspiring pupils to achieve a further 30 active minutes at home

The delivery of Sports Leadership Training

The delivery of Bikeability and Balance Bike training to ensure that children are safe to cycle on the roads
